OUR STORY

In 2015 our family fell in love with Maine Coons because of their amazing temperament.  Our youngest son has Autism and this fantastic breed is exceptional with special needs people, often being used as therapy cats.  Their laid-back attitude is so important to this breed and us. 

Here at Forest Edge Maine Coons we do NOT breed for size. If a giant Maine Coon is your top priority, then we are not the breeder for you.  We breed for health, (our adults are health tested, including echocardiograms), exceptional personality and the breed standard.  

Our kittens are raised inside our home with our kids and our dogs. 

For the safety of our family and the health of our cats we do NOT allow home visits or give "tours".   However, you are welcome to pick up your kitten at our home when he/she is ready.  Thank you for your understanding!
